Leading London DJs share the stage with virtuoso live musicians and celebrate the links that are being made in London via Rivers of the World with young people in Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Mexico and South Africa.

Saturday

12 – 1.30pm
Beijing DJ Dandan Liu, now based in London and active in the Chinese music scene, shares the stage with a virtuoso live artist from China Arts
1.30 – 3pm
Rita Ray, London’s leading African club DJ, shares the stage with the amazing percussionist and vocalist Risenga Makondo
3 – 4.30pm
DJ Karim Dellali, whose funky sets fuse North Africa and Western beats, is joined by oud master Yazid Fentazi
4.30 – 6pm
DJ Ritu of BBC London 94.9FM’s A World In London mixes with the master percussionist Kuljit Bhamra on tabla
6 – 7.30pm
DJ’s Cal Jader & Señor Priego play the sounds of Mexico with live musical interludes from traditional Mariachi El Mexicano
7.30 – 9pm
A strictly Brazilian mix from John Armstrong with solos and percussive sambas from the Brazilian drumming maestro Kleyton Macedo

Sunday

12 – 1pm
