The Great River Race 2008

London Eye to Tower Bridge, On the River Thames, along the river from Westminster Bridge
This year the Great River Race coincides with the Thames Festival.
More than 275 traditional boats of all shapes and sizes from around the world will make a magnificent two-hour long spectacle as they compete in the 22-mile race to find the UK Traditional Boat Champions.
The race starts in Richmond (Ham House) and should arrive at Westminster Bridge around 3.30pm and Tower Bridge around 3.45pm and it ends at Island Gardens.
