Thames Pageant 2008

On the River Thames, Along the river from Westminster Bridge
Promoting the Thames as an arena for all, the River Pageant sees river-users of all kinds join together in a programme-packed river display. The pageant runs from Greenwich to Westminster and back, and includes users of the river from working tugs and steam tugs to private yachts, fireboats, pleasure boats and Livery company vessels. The Pageant starts in Greenwich at 10.30am and will pass through the festival site between 11am and 1pm.
To join in our fabulous Thames Pageant book a place on one of the vessels taking part by contacting City Cruises on 020 7740 0400. The cruises will depart from St. Katharine’s Pier at 10.15am on Saturday 13 September, they will return by 13.00pm. You can either:
- Book a sightseeing trip for £12 a head
- Book a lunch cruise for £37.50 a head.
