On the River Thames
Sunday is a day at the races! The Steve Faldo Memorial Barge Races re-enact the way watermen manoeuvred their barges in the dying art of barge driving. The Festival Races are traditional rowing events held in Wherries and Cutters, boats dating from the early fifteenth century.
