Now a firm festival favourite, the Jive Stage and al fresco ballroom return with a jam-packed weekend of swing, jive and lindy hop for all, whether you're an aficionado on the dance floor or just a beginner.

Each day starts with an open dance class followed by live bands, cabaret and burlesque shows and some of the best DJs on the circuit.

I came to the 2008 festival.Ray gelato and his band were superb. later on I walked down to the Chris Jagger gig.A brilliant set,varied and great fun.I had to miss last year but will certainly be there again this year.Hugely enjoyable and free.See you there.

This is one of the best event in The Thames Festival!!!

I was there with my friends in 2008 and 2009. I enjoyed the dancing and music so much!

It was fantastic that we could move on to see the firework display!!!

These guys are great, so much fun. I enjoyed it so much I hired the Swing Dance Society to lead a class for my Mum’s 70th, it went down a storm!
