Festival Freedom Stage 2010
Sat 11 – Sun 12 September 2010 / 12 noon - 10pm
Jubilee Gardens
The sound of the new underground: resounding with artists that are creating a buzz. Bands that are intelligent, cool, self-aware, independent-minded and won’t be boxed in by musical categories. Acts with a 21st century sensibility in a post-racial, no-boundaries world where nu-soul, folk, indy, ska, salsa, jazz and hiphop collide, collude and explode into a whole new musical story. Enjoy!

Saravah Soul. This half-brazilian, half-british outfit has drawn upon unashamedly old-school flavours to create a new genre of Raw Afro-Brazilian Funk.
Amazing Band.
Not to be missed!!!

What an awesome festival and not just the music, amazing carnival and fireworks too! This was certainly by far the best lineup of contemporary blues artists I’ve seen on any festival lineup this year!!! - Made my weekend.
