Firing on the Foreshore 2008
Sat 13 – Sun 14 September 2008 / 12pm–11pm
Foreshore by Globe Theatre
Bankside STEWards invite you to join them for this magical combination of Thames clay, Thames driftwood and Thames foreshore at Bankside under the Millennium Footbridge. This is the only event to take place on the river foreshore so watch the tide ebb and come at 5pm as we prepare our fires. The incoming tide will stop the firing around 10.30pm.
Learn about London's history from foreshore archaeology and the health of the Thames from London's rats.
