Sun 14 September 2008 / 9:45pm
- Blackfriars Bridge
- Middle of the river by the Oxo Tower
- On the River Thames
Every year, tens of thousands of people thrill to the sights and sounds of the extraordinary mid-river fireworks display that marks the end of the Thames Festival.
This year, the display will be designed and delivered by Paine’s Fireworks. It is always a breathtaking event and this year Paine’s are promising to deliver a special “Catalan sting" in the finale.
The fireworks are scheduled to fire from two barges positioned mid-stream in the River Thames between Waterloo and Blackfriars Bridges. There is good viewing from Victoria Embankment and the two bridges.
