BBC Blast on Tour at the Thames Festival 2010

Get creative with BBC Blast by taking part in free creative workshops. All workshops are for 13-19-year-olds, ranging from film-making and radio production through to dance and theatre. Work with industry experts and BBC mentors to discover your creative talents using professional digital media. To find out more, drop by the BBC Blast BAT van in Jubilee Gardens, or the Blast trucks in Festival Square, outside the Royal Festival Hall, where you can book onto workshops, join masterclasses, browse the BBC Blast website, and meet industry professionals.
Exciting free BBC Blast workshops over the Festival weekend include fashion design, animation, TV presenting, 3D games design, photography, music production, TV special effects, radio broadcasting, manga design, album artwork, theatre.with circus skills, Bollywood fusion or Zumba dance classes, or take part in a fashion show. Meet music industry experts and get networking. You can sign up for a session through the BBC Blast website or drop by during the festival. Groups welcome too.
Blast is the BBC’s youth creativity service and is online, on tour and on TV. From first-timers to emerging artists, Blast is a powerful and free resource which inspires and supports creative journeys for teenagers.
