Last 2 years I was at home one weekend feeling terribly lonely and therefore went for a stroll along the river thames and stumbled onto the cajun stage at the festival - it was the best time of my life my lonliness turned into an intoxication of excitment and adrenalin, thanks to festival providers. The music and dance was familiar to me and with the free cajun and zydeco workshop it was heaven however the festival did not feature cajun in 2009 I had heard, so I did not venture to the festival at all.
This dance is not very well known as jive and the other dances so it is a lovely discovery to loads of people and creats a fabuous atmosphere. I urge anyone who has not done this dance to be there at least enjoy the soulful live band.

Hi
In my view its a fantastic festival - introducing so much culture !! I adore Cajun and Zydeco music but its also a great opportunity to try out other dance forms and music. The craft sounds great too - in fact there is so much to get involved in and see it almost becomes a dilemma !! Thank you for all the talent involved and so much time and energy put into this wonderful festival and thank you to the sponsors.
Best wishes
Eileen

Try and catch the Ice Cold Idiots at noon on Sunday on the Hoedown Stage.
ICI are 3, incredibly talented thirteen year olds playing a mix of their own material and classic rock.
Over the summer they have performed much talked about sets at Latitude,Port Eliot and Camp Bestival, earning themselves a top Times review.
Don’t miss them…...
