Night Carnival 2011

Thames Festival's Night Carnival 2011 will take place on Sunday 11th September.

This year our Carnival promises to be bigger and better than ever with over 2,000 dancers, musicians and masqueraders taking to the streets in an unrivalled display of street arts and creativity.

From 7.15pm roads will be transformed with cars and buses replaced by huge illuminated floats, children's lantern sections, samba bands, brass bands and much, much more.  This year our carnival route will be reversed, with the parade heading North over Blackfriars Bridge, and then parading in a westerly direction along Victoria Embankment.
