The Winning images:
“This image really captures the carnival atmosphere of the Festival, firmly placing the activities in London. Using colour superbly, it includes the spectators and the Oxo Tower but draws your eye to the main attraction”.
Tung Mac
“This is a wonderful photo encapsulating the romance of London and the emotion of the Festival-goers"…. “It gets both the sense of joy and intimacy of the dancing along with time and place”.
Dr Brian Mitchell
"This picture screams Festival Fun! It has captured a rare moment of bright sunshine on the day. It has a colourful and retro feel, and includes the Thames Clipper logo making sure we know we are in London."
Angela Rogers
“Of the many entries featuring this piece, this gentle image, taken in the “golden hour” of late afternoon sunshine pushing away an autumnal storm, was favourite.”
