Nearest Tubes

• For the area on the South Bank the nearest tubes are Waterloo and Embankment (Disabled access)
• For the area by the Tate the nearest tube is Southwark (please note Blackfriars tube is closed from March 09 until late 2011, although the overground station remains operational)
• For the area by Southwark Bridge the nearest tubes are Canon Street and Borough
• For the area by Tower Bridge and The Scoop at More London, nearest tubes are London Bridge (Disabled access) and Tower Hill

Buses

There are many bus stops in the local vicinity, including the RV1 which runs along the Festival site. Please check the TFL website for information on bus routes from your area to the Festival site.

Cycles

• Plan your cycling route on the Transport for London website
• Find out about secure bicycle parking

River

Use the scheduled river services which depart from the following Piers: Waterloo, Embankment, Festival, Bankside, London Bridge City & Tower. For a full timetable of all river services go to www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/river-guide-08.pdf

Normal boat services will operate during the Thames Festival except for the following:

• On Sunday 13th between 21.40 and 22.10 when the Thames Festival fireworks take place
